| Dear People of Our Savior, Many of you may remember Pastor Diane Loberger. Pastor Diane was our second vicar, serving here from 1995-1996. After finishing her last year at seminary she was called back to be our first full time associate pastor in 1997. Pastor Diane served here for about 6 years until being called to All Saint's Lutheran Church in Tamarac Florida. After serving there she was called to St. Peter Lutheran Church in Sheboygan WI. She began a battle with cancer about a year ago, and was doing well. About 8 weeks ago it came back strong. She passed on Monday evening April 7. A memorial service for Diane will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church ( 2104 Geele Ave. Sheboygan, WI 53083 ) with the Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers and gifts, a memorial fund has been established for the St. Peter Lutheran Church General Operating Fund. A member of her congregation wrote "Pastor Diane passed last evening around 11:30. Her sister, Jennifer, Leslie and Pam were with her. Easter has come!" Please keep the people of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Sheboygan, and Pastor Diane's friends and family in your prayers. Pastor Jack + Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant Diane. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of you own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive her into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. |
