Dinner for Camp Haven?

CAMP HAVEN Sept. 5, 2014          "For I was hungry, and you gave me food . . ." - Matthew 25    What an incredible response we had to helping out Camp Haven these last three months!   We sent out one email in June and had every Wednesday dinner for the summer covered. Wow! Camp Haven has been so grateful. We would like to continue to help them with one hot meal a week. Can you help? A main dish is all that is needed, just a casserole, lasagna, hearty soup, pasta dish, meat dish, anything will do. Camp Haven (a ministry to homeless men in our community) does not have cooking facilities on site, and so the men eat a lot of microwave or cold food meals. They do have plans to have a kitchen facility built, but until that becomes a reality they are so grateful for a homemade hot dinner on Wednesday nights.   What is needed?    A main dish for 15 people on any Wednesday night this fall. Just a main dish, they can furnish the sides. The dish can be cooked in your own home and delivered directly to Camp Haven by 5:00pm on Wednesday. Disposable food containers are available at the church.
