Every day, men in our community are desperately struggling with homelessness. Many of them have lost all hope. These physically and emotionally depleted men tend to make wrong choices, which in turn costs our community thousands of dollars. The community, through Camp Haven, is responding to their needs by providing a safe environment that will help men committed to transforming their lives, free themselves from destitution and despair and prepare them to embrace a productive life. Join us in helping them break from the cycle of homelessness and become contributing members of Indian River County.

Provide a meal for the men of Camp Haven!
We have now been providing Wednesday dinner for the men of Camp Haven for 7 months. Wow! Camp Haven has been so grateful. We would like to continue in the year ahead. Can you help?
What is needed?
A main dish for 15 people on any Wednesday night. Just a main dish (a casserole, lasagna, chili, pasta dish, hearty soup, etc.), they can furnish the sides. The dish can be cooked in your own home and delivered directly to Camp Haven by 5:00pm on Wednesday. Disposable food containers are available at the church. If you need to contact Camp Haven to deliver at another time, call 772-999-3625.

(By signing up this way through Volunteerspot you will receive a reminder email the week you signed up, which is a help if you pick a Wednesday several months from now.)
Thank you for considering helping with this ministry of feeding others!
Pastor Shelly
