Help Camp Haven

CAMP HAVEN May 30, 2014          "For I was hungry, and you gave me food . . ." - Matthew 25    Can you provide a dinner for the men of Camp Haven?   A main dish is all that is needed, just a casserole, lasagna, hearty soup, pasta dish, meat dish, anything will do. Camp Haven (a ministry to homeless men in our community) does not have cooking facilities on site, and so the men eat a lot of microwave or cold food meals. Camp Haven is asking churches in town if they can help them out with their ministry by providing a meal for the men one night a week. While our Wednesday Night Dinners were in session the men were joining us for Wednesday night dinners at the church (and helping with clean up afterwards!). While Wednesday night dinners are on break for the summer, can you help provide a meal?   What is needed?    A main dish for 15 people on any Wednesday night this summer. Just a main dish, they can furnish the sides. The dish can be cooked in your own home and delivered directly to Camp Haven by 5:00pm on Wednesday. Disposable food containers are available at the church.
