Staff Travels!

Staff Travels
January 10th 2013

As of today, 4 Our Savior Staff people are literally all around the world! Closest to home is Ryan Hostler, our minister of music, who is at an ecumenical sacred music workshop for a few days in Naples FL. He is both a participant and one of the leaders of the event. Our parish nurse/seminarian, Bonnie Lanyi is in the Holy Land (Israel...not the "Lutheran Holy Land", Minnesota) with a group from Luther Seminary. And our Youth Leaders, Ed and Kelly Elsebough are in Texas at a Youth Ministry Certification School. These are the things which make for a good and healthy staff and which make for a healthy congregation. God bless them all with safe travels and good and inspiring experiences!

And PS...squirrel update....here is a picture of "Mary" the squirrel who came up to Pastor Shelly and Pastor Jack at church a couple of weeks ago looking for a home. Pastor Jack's 3 year old grandson, Andrew V, is holding her. She's doing well. :-)

See you in church! This weekend we celebrate the Baptism of our Lord, and get to remember and reflect on our own Baptism and what that means for us everyday. Then at 4pm in the afternoon "the Russians are coming!" You won't want to miss this fun concert. Kids free. A $15 donation per ticket will go to Haiti Partners. Hope to see you there.
