I think we said "See you next Fall", or "See you next Winter" to more people this past weekend than any other single weekend this year! The north must be starting to thaw out! It's been wonderful having so many of our seasonal friends with us these past months. You really are a part of the Our Savior family. One of the nicest comments I heard when Mike and Terry returned earlier this year from Michigan was "It's good to be home", referring to being back at Our Savior. And when Jim and Linda (also from Michigan) left to go back they said they were hoping to rent a condo close to church next year. That too does our hearts so good. We're so glad that so many of you feel that way. Your being here is an important part of who we are, and we are so blessed by your presence. For those of you who are still around, and who would like to know more about Our Savior and/or become members of Our Savior, we are having 3 gatherings starting this Wednesday at 7pm. The gatherings are: Wed. April 17 at 7pm, Sunday April 21 at 9:45am and Wednesday April 24 at 7pm, all in the Quiet Room off of the narthex. If that room is too small, we'll meet in the sanctuary. Hope you can join us. Please visit our website at www.oursaviorelca.com for more information about life at Our Savior. Lots of items and information is being posted including God Pause (see below for more information) also new are some video and audio clips from Holy Week and Easter worship, check them out! Also you can find a wonderful post about the Run for God program and a recent rain soaked race (lots of medals won!) http://www.oursaviorelca.com/general/running-rain-and-medals/ Have a blessed week! See you in church! Pastor Jack Diehl + |
